Day three in the UK

It's Frakin' cold & wet

semi-overcast 12 °C

Having gotten into Heathrow airport I started my wait for Mr. Gale. During the 3 hours I met a lovely English woman named Amildar who is now living in Huston Texas and is back, after 15 years, to visit her father. She was waiting for her brother, Gus, to pick her up...who would arrive first? Gus! Only by five minutes.

Mike and I jumped on the train to Leicester Square and then hopped on one to Waterloo and then a bus out to Dalston where Tom, an American mate of Mikes lives. We got there just in time to head to the Baring pub to see Tom play drums, a bit of Jazz, and have a couple of pints.

Spent yesterday basically comatosed due mainly to jetlag, minimal scotch and numerouse episodes of Battlestar Galactica. Today though all is good. Woke up early, 10.30 ish (OMG) and went for a walk as Mike and Tom were still in dreamland. Found an internet cafe and did a little bit of this, a little bit of that but nothing overly productive. I returned to find them awake and am now (obviosly) back on the interweb. We will be leaving for Southampton soon. _Southampton.jpg Bye for now. O...xx...O
